The EP "Eternal Rose" by Eternalkeys, an Instrumental project created by the Italian keyboardist and modern composer Mimmo D'Ippolito, is based on different concretive piano melodies and fragile, bright synthesizer strings, both ingredients that usually enforce melancholy and solitude but instead form a soothing, ever so slightly dream-like and misterious atmosphere. This creation of Mimmo D'Ippolito is of a melodious and mystic nature that captures the listener's imagination across a chilly bewilderment and an allegoric, ethereal winter ambience.

Review "Arcanum Secret" by Francis Milia

Arcanum Secret riporta alla mente un sound a me molto caro fatto di luci, ombre e colori, sfumature variopinte che mi riportano al vecchio caro e glorioso progressive inglese, catapultato però nel ventunesimo secolo, per poi venir miscelato con la tecnologia ed il sound moderno per dare vita ad un progetto che abbraccia vari mood, dalla chillout al Trip hop e all'ambient di qualità. Arcanum Secret a mio parere lo trovo un lavoro molto interessante che proietta l'ascoltatore in mondi fantastici e perduti nel tempo. A livello prettamente commerciale lo vedrei bene come soundtrack per film, corti e documentari.



Arcanum Secret brings to mind a sound very dear to me made ​​of lights, shadows and colors, colorful shades that bring me back to the old dear and glorious English progressive, but catapulted into the twenty-first century, only to be blended with technology and modern sound to give life to a project that involves many different moods, from chillout to trip hop to ambient quality. Arcanum Secret in my opinion I find it a very interesting job that throws the listener into worlds of fantasy and lost in time. A purely commercial level, I would see it as a good soundtrack for films, shorts and documentaries.

“Arcanum Secret” è un album che raccoglie stati d’animo, svela momenti di riflessione ed emozione dipinti con sonorità che vanno dall’intimo pianismo al coinvolgente orchestrale, miscelando colori timbrici classici a tappeti ritmici elettronici, atmosfere rarefatte e profondità universali a passeggiate terrestri tra foreste incantate e paesaggi primordiali, il tutto sapientemente amalgamato in un “arcano” viaggio nei “segreti” di una immaginaria visione cinematografica. Note di un viaggio tra ieri e domani, in mezzo un oggi rarefatto, sospeso, interrogativo, introverso, arcano, romantico, futuristico.

I dieci brani di “Arcanum Secret” hanno un comune legame in quella “visualizzazione sonora” cosiì evidente che viene da chiedersi per quale pellicola siano stati composti. Non c’è, almeno per ora, una pellicola da arricchire con le atmosfere firmate Eternalkeys (al secolo Mimmo D’Ippolito), e e allora durante l’ascolto la mia mente ha materializzato scene,  episodi, trame, scatti, visioni, immagini di un “film” visto o da inventare, escursioni in scenari ancestrali (Dragon’s Gate) o fanta-spaziali (Future city, Parallelives), scene fiabesche (Farewell To childhood) o eroiche (Monumental Sign, Second War), sogni rarefatti che si materializzano (Glacial Wind) o scatti da un romanzo d’amore (Letters and Pages)…

Quando  la musica fa muovere gli ingranaggi della fantasia e i neuroni dell’immaginario, quando scuote i battiti cardiaci e ci lascia percorrere sentieri mai calpestati sospinti da un vento di emozioni,dell’ascoltatore, un connubio semplicemente perfetto.

“Arcanum Secret” is an album that collects moods, reveals moments of reflection and emotion painted with sounds ranging from the intimate to the engaging orchestral to pianism, mixing classic tone colours to carpets rhythmic electronic rarefied rarefied atmosphere and depth universal walks between land enchanted forests and primordial landscapes, all expertly blended into a "secret" trip to the "secrets" of a fictional cinematic vision.

Notes of a journey between yesterday and tomorrow, today in the midst of a rarefied, suspended, question, introverted, mysterious, romantic, futuristic.

The ten tracks from "Arcanum Secret" have a common bond in that "sound visualization" that obvious that one wonders to what film were composed. There is, at least for now, a film by enriching with atmospheres signed Eternalkeys (born Mimmo D'Ippolito),  and then while listening to my mind has materialized scenes, episodes, plots, shots, visions, images of a "film" seen or to be invented, hiking in beautiful ancestral (Dragon's Gate) or fantasy-space  (Future City, Parallelives), scenes from fairy tales (Farewell To childhood) or heroic (Monumental Sign, Second War), dreams rarefied that materialize (Glacial Wind) or click on a novel love (Letters and Pages) ...

When the music moves the gears of fantasy and imagination neurons, when shocking heartbeats and leaves us never to follow paths trampled driven by a wind of emotions, the listener, a marriage just perfect.
